Empowering Communities for a Better Tomorrow
Empowering Communities for Change
The Chowthee Foundation supports health, sustainability and poverty alleviation by uplifting humanity through innovative initiatives and community-driven projects.
Our Mission
The Chowthee Foundation's mission is to empower vulnerable communities by alleviating poverty, improving health outcomes, and fostering sustainable development, creating lasting positive change for individuals and the environment.
Our Services
We offer initiatives that promote health, poverty alleviation, and sustainability for individuals and communities in need.
Health Initiatives
The Chowthee Foundation adopts global best practices that demonstrate the importance of a holistic, community-centered, and sustainable approach to improving health outcomes in developing countries. By focusing on primary health care, workforce development, technology, and equity, these strategies can create lasting impacts on health systems and populations.
Sustainable Projects
A proven sustainability strategy that has been widely recognized for its success is The Circular Economy Model, which focuses on reducing waste, maximizing resource efficiency, and creating sustainable systems.
The Chowthee Foundation's strategy focuses on identifying specific households and individuals living in poverty, rather than applying broad, generalized programs. This ensures that resources are directed to those who need them most.

Health Initiatives: Vitalmodo.com
Vital Modo AI was developed to assist both developed and developing communities to answer their pressing healthcare questions. The model has over 100 languages available for users to interact in. It is multi-modal: users can use text or voice to query their health issues. It is anonymous: users do not have to input their personal details to get access to the platform.
We designed the website with no video and minimal images for areas with bad internet connectivity.
Sustainability Efforts
Exploring and developing cement substitutes that can help reduce greenhouse gas emissions associated with traditional Portland cement production. The production of Portland cement is responsible for approximately 8% of global CO₂ emissions due to the energy-intensive process and the calcination of limestone (calcium carbonate), which releases CO₂. Developing alternatives can significantly contribute to global efforts to mitigate climate change. This is a medium term project.
Poverty Alleviation
The Chowthee Foundation uses a strategic poverty alleviation approach, known as "targeted poverty alleviation," which involves identifying specific causes of poverty in different regions and implementing customized solutions, such as relocating residents, developing local industries, and providing social welfare support, to eradicate poverty by addressing the unique needs of each community. The Foundation will build an app to monitor the project with project co-ordinators on the ground to support at-risk families and individuals based on their most pressing needs. They will then help up-skill individuals to become self sufficient.
